FUNCTIONAL BREATHING?
Functional breathing is breathing efficiently to meet your metabolic needs. Breathing through the nose, low down in the lungs and slow. Over half of the adult and child population are dysfunctional in the way that they breathe.

WHAT
IS A BREATHWORK SESSION?
As a qualified Buteyko, Oxygen Advantage and Pranayama teacher, each session will include a unique blend of different techniques to meet the needs of the individual.
In a therapeutic, functional breathing session, a client would;
undergo a breathing assessment to establish the level of functionality
participate in gentle breathing exercises that address the three dimensions of breathing - designed to improve functional breathing
receive a summary of the recommended practices to integrate into daily life

Yes! Tailored, playful and gentle: sessions that teach breath awareness, presence, concentration, resilience and sleep support in age-appropriate ways. These sessions help with emotional regulation, anxiety, concentration and creating calmer bedtime routines.
