The Breath of Life is a Wellness Workshop that takes a deep dive into all aspects of the Breath - Nervous System connection.

    Did you know that we are in one of these states in every moment of our day?

    Do you know how to recognise dysregulation in yourself and others and how this can significantly change interactions and relationships?

    Do have coping or regulation strategies and why does it matter?

    These are just some of the topics we will dissect during our time together.

    A practical and theory-based workshop designed to take you on an exploratory journey in befriending your nervous system through effective breathwork strategies.

  • Can you recognise the signs of dysregulation in yourself and others?

    Why is this important?

    Our nervous system is dictating the quality of our life experience. Stress and the impact of fast-paced living is dominating our society and it is having disastrous consequences on our health, wellbeing and our relationships.

    This workshop will give you the understanding and the practical experience to identify where you are on the regulation ladder in any given moment and empower you with strategies to overcome and prevent the stress response taking over your health and life!

    Workshop includes:

    • An in depth Masterclass into the Autonomic Nervous System and the six states of regulation as outlined by the Poly Vagal Theory.

    • The role of breathwork and functional breathing to optimise and regulate your mind and body.

    • Gentle movement to move energy and prepare the body.

    • Practical application to experience and learn simple breathwork techniques and practices to regulate and manage your state.

    • A exploratory session designed to sample contemporary and ancient breathwork and meditation practices.

    • A special relaxation treat to soothe body and mind.

    • Time to reflect and ask questions.

    • Afternoon tea.

    Please note the following:

    • wear warm, comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement and relaxation

    • Bring a yoga mat (spares will be available)

    • bring a blanket and pillow for additional warmth and comfort

    • Eye pillow (optional)

    • A note pad and pen

    • Any other props that support your practice.
