Workplace Wellbeing
Are your staff stressed out? Burnt out? Unable to cope? Have you witnessed an increase in sick days? What about staff turnover? How are you responding to and prioritising mental health amongst the staff in your organisation?
How are you approaching staff wellbeing in your organisation?
For wellbeing to work it has to be meaningful and it has to be embedded with simplicity into everyday life.
We all have an inbuilt system of self-regulation, that when used effectively can energise, balance and calm us in any given situation, but we have no user manual. What if the way we were using this system was adding to our lack of energy, poor sleep, low resiliency, lower immune function and inability to concentrate?
By learning how to identify the physiological responses to stress and to capture the level of nervous system regulation or dysregulation, we gain greater awareness of what we are experiencing and when armed with some functional tools, we are better able to implement strategies that work with us to regulate and rebalance.
Let me show you how the way we breathe is the key to sustainable physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Breathe Yourself to Health, Vitality & Optimal Performance
We live in a dynamic world of constant change, high expectations and ongoing pressure. This fast-paced, stress-laden culture can take its toll on our nervous system and radically impact our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
As a high-school teacher and leader for many years, I am very aware of the impact of long-term stress on our health, ability to cope and overall life satisfaction. To achieve optimal performance in the workplace and maintain balance and equilibrium in our health, it is vital to understand and empower ourselves with actionable strategies and practices that can support us in all areas of life.
I am an experienced teacher of health, specialising in functional breathwork for wellbeing and performance. Through harnessing the potential of the breath, we are able to pacify the body and mind and bring about balance in the nervous system.
Audiences will leave with a greater understanding of the science of the breath, with simple yet effective practices that will support them to optimise health, improve sleep, increase resiliency, better manage stress and improve their overall performance.
